Fact Checked

Keepa has a free plan and a paid Keepa Pro membership (also called Keepa Premium) that costs €29 monthly. You’re eligible for a discount if you choose the yearly Keepa pricing.

In addition to the basic plans, Keepa offers separate pricing for API integrations.

However, unlike most similar tools, it doesn’t offer tiered plans.

Keep reading to learn more about Keepa’s offers, how to get them cheaper, and how to sign up.

Fortunately, you don’t need to enter a contract or submit your card details to use Keepa for free.

Also, the free plan doesn’t have a time constraint like conventional free trial offers.

Instead, it’s free forever. This way, you can take your time to explore the features before committing financially.

Is Keepa Premium a Separate Plan?

No. Keepa Premium and Keepa Pro are the same subscription. Keepa’s checkout sells one paid tier and labels it Keepa Pro. So the Keepa Premium price is €29 per month, or €290 per year (around €24 a month). There is no separate Premium plan with different features.

If a review quotes a different Keepa Premium subscription price, it’s outdated. Keepa sells exactly one paid tier at one price, whichever name you use for it.

Which API Plan Does Keepa Offer?

Apart from Keepa’s basic plans, it also offers API plans for sellers looking to connect to track specific data per month.

Keepa sets usage limits for each API subscription plan via a token system.

This model differentiates each plan based on the number of tokens generated per minute.

Each token can request data for a seller, category, or product.

Moreover, all tokens generated have a 60-minute expiration time. So, whether you use them or not, a token will expire 60 minutes after it is generated.

Check the table below for a breakdown of what each Keepa API plan costs.

500 Tokens per minute

2,000 Tokens per minute (Business)

10,000 Tokens per minute (Enterprise)

Keepa now sells these as slider presets, so you can also buy a custom token rate between the tiers. For per-request token costs, bucket limits, and what one token actually buys, see my full Keepa API guide.

Which Features Are Available on Keepa Plans?

Keepa’s free plan is mainly for testing its features, so it understandably has usage restrictions. For instance, you can’t use Keepa’s Data toolset on the free plan.

The paid plan, on the other hand, uses a quota system to determine the volume of data that can be requested daily. This prevents large-scale data scraping and ensures all users get a fair and fast platform where no one hogs all the resources.

Interestingly, paid users’ quotas are replenished by 5% every hour.

With a 100% quota, you can import and export up to 36,000 products through Product Viewer each day.

The free plan comes with a 0% quota, making it ineligible to access the Data Access toolset.

How to Save on Your Keepa Subscription?

Unfortunately, Keepa doesn’t offer discount codes. However, you can still save on subscriptions by following these steps.

Stick to the Free Plan

The obvious way to save on your Keepa subscription is to stick to the free plan, especially if you can make do with the free tools. After all, there’s no reason to splash on the Data toolset and the interactive graph if you aren’t planning on doing in-depth or bulk product research.

Opt for the Annual Plan

When you eventually commit financially to Keepa, consider subscribing to the annual plan. Although you’ll be paying more upfront, the yearly plan sets your monthly payment to around €24, which saves you 17% annually.

Boost Your Ecommerce Business With Keepa

Given the quality price and product tracking tools, Keepa is well worth its price.

At €29 monthly, you can track price changes efficiently, access interactive and in-depth historical graphs, and find profitable opportunities.

However, you’ll likely have to pay for other platforms to manage other critical eCommerce operations, such as keyword research, PPC optimization, and inventory management.

If you only need Amazon data tracking niche-focused software, though, sign up for Keepa today.
