To find Amazon influencers for your product, start with competing products. Open their shoppable videos, follow the contributor links to Amazon storefronts, and check what each person recommends. For a larger search, enter a competitor ASIN into an influencer search tool, then review the matches before building an outreach list.

I used a Levoit air purifier to work through that process in Amazon and Spreesy. The search produced plenty of names. The useful part was separating product evidence, content suitability, and a usable contact route.

  • Start free: find a few people through product videos and public storefront links.
  • Research by product: use Spreesy when you want to inspect a larger set of competing-ASIN matches.
  • Already use Helium 10? check your included Influencer Finder searches before buying another subscription.

Looking for one particular person’s shop? Use my guide to finding Amazon storefronts. This guide is for sellers choosing influencers to approach about their products.

Find Amazon Influencers in Six Steps

A useful shortlist starts with a product and a clear content brief. Decide what you want an influencer to demonstrate, find people already covering similar items, and inspect their work. Only then check contact details and agree on the deliverable. Here is the process using an Amazon US example.

Step 1: Choose Your Product and Competing ASINs

An ASIN is Amazon’s ten-character product identifier. You can copy it from the product URL after /dp/ or find it in the product details. Use the exact variant you want to research. A different size, model, or marketplace can lead to a different result set.

For this walkthrough, I chose the white Levoit Core 300-P air purifier, ASIN B07VVK39F7. Say you sell a competing bedroom air purifier. Relevant demonstrations might cover operating noise, replacing the filter, and how much space the unit takes up.

  • Your product: write down its ASIN and the customer problem it solves.
  • Comparable products: choose two or three with a similar use, price range, and buyer. A premium whole-home unit may be a poor comparison for a small bedroom model.
  • Desired content: decide whether you need an Amazon shoppable demonstration, a social post, or both. Specify each deliverable separately.

Step 2: Try the Free Discovery Routes

Amazon product videos are a useful first stop because they connect a person to a product demonstration. Open the product gallery or video section, choose a relevant clip, and look for a linked contributor name. Check the storefront it opens, then follow the influencer’s published social or website links.

On the Levoit listing, the video viewer included a manufacturer safety guide and influencer content. A cleaning video from Value Excellence had a storefront link below it. That distinction matters: a brand-uploaded clip is not automatically an influencer you can approach.

Amazon’s video viewer links the contributor name to a storefront. Manufacturer clips can appear in the same product gallery.

The exact videos and their order can change. A video linked to a storefront also does not prove that it holds a permanent position on a product page.

To expand the search, try these routes:

  • Google: search site:amazon.com/shop "air purifier" or a specific model name. Open the storefront and verify the product yourself.
  • YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok: search the model name plus review or demonstration. Follow the creator’s actual Amazon storefront link; an amzn.to product link alone does not establish that they have an influencer storefront.
  • Your existing community: check people already tagging your brand or demonstrating your products. A familiar customer may still need to confirm which content they offer professionally.

Manual discovery is enough when you need a few candidates and can inspect them individually. It becomes repetitive when you want to compare several competing ASINs or keep a reusable outreach list.

Step 3: Search the Same Product in Spreesy

Spreesy lets you find influencers through the products on their Amazon storefronts. In the seller workspace, open Find by product, choose the US marketplace, paste B07VVK39F7, and click Search. An exact ASIN gives you a more specific starting point than a broad product description such as air purifier.

My broad description search displayed 20 keyword matches. The ASIN search showed 2,224 influencers associated with the Levoit product, including 1,158 with shoppable videos, 82 with shoppable photos, and 1,078 with product-list placements. These September 2026 counts describe different searches; they are not a measure of one method’s accuracy.

Spreesy returned 2,224 influencers for this ASIN. Content-type counts overlap because one person can feature a product in more than one format.

Do not add the content-type totals together. One influencer can feature the same product in a video and a list. These are catalog matches to investigate, not 2,224 people who have agreed to promote your product.

The product name did not load in my search, although the ASIN and exact matches did. The similar-product section could not infer suggestions from the missing name. If that happens, check the ASIN on Amazon and run a separate product-description search for broader ideas.

Use Shoppable video when a filmed demonstration is your priority. Has socials can narrow the list to profiles with a linked social account. Read the match label: a keyword match or a similar-product suggestion is a research lead, not evidence that the influencer covered your exact ASIN.

Step 4: Inspect the Product Recommendation

Open an influencer’s panel and read why they matched. Then inspect the Videos and Product lists tabs separately. A product added to an idea list establishes a recommendation link, but it does not show filming style, a hands-on test, or an existing shoppable video for that item. Watch the relevant clip before pitching.

Adam Talks Tech was a useful example. Spreesy linked the searched ASIN to his storefront and showed a Levoit Core 300-P versus Vital 200S comparison. The card was marked as one of two tagged products. Another card was a standalone Core 300-P features review, tagged with one product.

The first two videos each tag two products. Open the clip to judge how much attention your competing product receives.

The comparison could suit a brief about choosing between models; the standalone review could suit a detailed product demonstration. The ASIN match alone does not tell you which format you are buying. Nor does a tagged product establish that the creator endorses every feature or prefers it to the alternatives.

  • Open the Amazon video and check whether the product is actually demonstrated or only mentioned.
  • Look at framing, sound, explanation, and whether the demonstration answers your customers’ questions.
  • Check other recent posts on the live storefront or social profile. A Profile observed date tells you when the profile was checked, not when every video was published.
  • Treat category percentages as the mix of products carried. They do not establish the age, location, or interests of the influencer’s audience.

My recommendation: Spreesy fits sellers who want to start with competing products and inspect the influencers behind those recommendations. This workflow gives you product evidence and published contact routes in one place. It costs $59 a month for seller access, so check whether your products have useful coverage before subscribing.

Step 5: Build a Shortlist You Can Explain

Keep an influencer only when you can explain why their content fits your product and how you would contact them. I would start with a small list that I can review carefully. A high video count or a Top Creator badge can help you explore, but neither replaces that decision.

Candidate from the Levoit search

Useful evidence

Contact route and next step

Adam Talks Tech

Exact-product video plus comparisons with other Levoit models.

Instagram and YouTube links shown. Review the relevant clip and pitch a specific comparison or demonstration.

Jami Monger

A product-linked video focused on whether the air purifier is loud.

Instagram link and collaboration email text in the public bio. Check her wider content fit before approaching.

Gina and Dan

Levoit video match and an appliances-heavy product mix.

The panel showed no contact links. Keep for further research until a published contact route is found.

These are research candidates, not endorsements of their services or confirmed availability. Jami’s wider product mix leaned toward beauty, clothing, and sports, so I would check the actual purifier video before deciding she fits a home-appliance brief.

The panel links Adam Talks Tech to the searched ASIN and provides Instagram and YouTube routes. An email address is not shown here.

For each candidate, record the storefront URL, matching ASIN, video or list link, fit reason, published contact route, and next action. Spreesy provides Save to list; a spreadsheet also works. If no email is shown, check the public bio or linked website. Do not assume a missing email means the person cannot be contacted.

Large result sets still need narrowing. My ASIN search displayed 20 rows per page and limited browsing to the first 1,000 results, while the export control indicated the full matching set. Check the export allowance in your account before planning a large download.

Step 6: Send a Specific, Low-Pressure Pitch

Your first message should explain the product, why you chose that influencer, and what work you want to discuss. Ask about availability and rates before sending a sample. Clarify whether the proposal covers Amazon content, social distribution, usage rights, or a combination. Those are different pieces of work and can carry different fees.

Here is a template for the air-purifier example. Replace the bracketed details and refer to a video you have actually watched:

Subject: Air purifier demonstration for [brand]

Hi [name],

I watched your [specific video title], especially the section on [actual detail from the video]. I work with [brand], and we sell [product and Amazon link].

Would you be open to discussing a paid shoppable video showing [specific feature or use]? We can provide a sample. Please let me know your rate, availability, and what the deliverable includes. We would agree on any social posts or reuse rights separately.

You would be free to give your honest opinion. If it sounds relevant, I can send a short brief.

Thanks, [your name]

Keep the campaign agreement separate from customer reviews. Do not ask for a positive Amazon customer review in exchange for payment or a sample. Agree on appropriate sponsorship disclosures, delivery timing, and how the content may be used.

Track replies, agreed fees, samples sent, delivered content, and any sales you can attribute through suitable reporting. Do not treat every sale during the campaign as influencer-generated. One short follow-up may be reasonable; move on when the person declines or does not engage.

Which Amazon Influencer Search Method Should You Use?

Choose the method around your research workload and existing subscriptions. Manual search works for a few prospects. Spreesy offers a focused product-to-influencer workflow. Helium 10 includes influencer research within a broader seller suite. Amazon Creator Connections serves a different job: arranging eligible seller campaigns with bonus commissions for participating creators.

  • Choose manual research if: you need only a handful of prospects and have time to inspect each storefront.
  • Choose Spreesy if: you want a standalone way to find influencers through competing ASINs and inspect their recommendations.
  • Check Helium 10 first if: you already pay for the suite and have enough Influencer Finder searches included.

My Helium 10 Influencer Finder guide explains its filters and plan access. For the rest of your software stack, see the Amazon seller tools comparison.

Method

Best use

Cost or limitation to check

Amazon, Google and social search

Finding and reviewing a few candidates manually.

No research subscription; scattered results and manual record-keeping.

Spreesy

Finding influencers through product recommendations and published contact routes.

$59/month seller plan. Free signup and public coverage check are not a trial of the full paid workspace.

Helium 10 Influencer Finder

Research within an existing Amazon seller suite, including ASIN and carousel filters.

Platinum: $129/month and 10 Amazon Finder uses. Diamond: $359/month and 250/day. Annual billing is cheaper.

Amazon Creator Connections

Bonus-commission campaigns for eligible sellers and creators.

Eligibility, campaign terms, budget, and seller-funded bonus commissions.

Both Spreesy and Helium 10 support ASIN searches. I would not buy a second subscription solely because it accepts an ASIN. Compare the actual matches, recommendation detail, contact availability, and limits for your products.

With Amazon Creator Connections, sellers fund the campaign’s bonus commissions. Standard Amazon affiliate commissions, an agreed content fee, and shipping a sample are separate considerations. Research in Spreesy can inform whom you approach, but a search result is not a campaign agreement.

Start With One Product and a Small Shortlist

Choose one competing ASIN, inspect the matching videos, and keep only the influencers whose work fits your brief. Confirm a public contact route and agree on terms before sending a product. Repeat with other comparable ASINs when you need more candidates, removing duplicates as you go.

If manual browsing is becoming repetitive, use Spreesy to bring the product matches and published contact routes together. The useful outcome is a shortlist you can explain and approach, rather than a large export you have not reviewed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I find Amazon influencers for free?

Yes. Browse product videos, follow linked contributor names to their storefronts, and use Google or social search to find more people. You can review those public pages without a paid research tool. A paid directory helps organize a larger search, but you still need to assess each candidate.

Can I search Amazon for influencers by product?

You can discover some influencers through a product’s video section and their linked storefronts. Amazon’s product search is not a comprehensive product-to-influencer directory. An ASIN search in a tool such as Spreesy or Helium 10 can provide another set of candidates to review.

It is a search using Amazon’s ten-character product identifier to find influencers associated with that product. Check how the tool established the match: a tagged video, photo, or idea-list entry provides different evidence. A broad keyword match does not establish an exact product relationship.

Does an idea-list match mean the influencer made a video?

No. An idea list is a collection of product recommendations. Someone can add a product without publishing a shoppable video for it. If your brief requires filmed content, inspect the video tab and the linked clip instead of relying on a list match.

How do I find an Amazon influencer’s email address?

Check their public storefront bio, linked social profile, website contact page, or management contact. A research tool may surface published contact details, but coverage varies. If no email is listed, use an appropriate public business-contact route instead of guessing an address.

How much does Spreesy cost for sellers?

Spreesy seller access costs $59 a month. Free signup and the public coverage check do not provide a trial of the full paid workspace. Spreesy advertises a 30-day refund on the first charge; check its current terms before subscribing.

How much should I pay an Amazon influencer?

There is no single rate for an Amazon influencer collaboration. Ask for a quote based on the video or post, deadline, product sample, and any content reuse rights. Establish what is included before agreeing to the fee. Do not assume an affiliate commission covers a custom content brief.

Will an influencer’s video appear on my product listing?

A storefront video or product tag does not guarantee a permanent position on your listing. Amazon controls where eligible content appears, and placements can change. Ask for the agreed content deliverable rather than a promise that the influencer controls Amazon’s video placement.

Can I ask an influencer for an Amazon customer review?

Do not make payment or a free sample conditional on a positive customer review. Commissioning content is a separate arrangement from Amazon’s customer-review system. Define the demonstration or social deliverable, allow an honest opinion, and agree on appropriate sponsorship disclosures.
