Here’s how:

  1. Log in to your Jungle Scout online account.
  2. Click “Product Research.”
  1. Then, on the dropdown menu, choose “Product Database.”
  1. Set your winning product filters. I recommend setting the max LQS to 5. This allows you to find products that may be easy to dominate with a better listing.
  1. Hit “Search.”

You could also use the LQS filter to find great listings to research and compare with yours. 

For this, you need to do the following:

  1. Go to the “Product Database” as mentioned above.
  2. Set the minimum LQS to 7.
  3. Put your product keyword into the “Include Keywords/ASINs” textbox.
  1. Click “Search.”
  1. Now, you should find great example listings in the search results. Choose one and click the Amazon logo to explore it further.

Getting LQS via Jungle Scout Product Tracker

Product Tracker is an excellent tool to monitor your competitors and see how well potential products are doing.

For this, you should first grab the ASIN for the product you want to track:

  1. Go to Amazon Seller Central and log in to your account.
  1. Click the menu button.
  1. Select “Manage All Inventory” from the dropdown under “Inventory.”
  1. You should see your ASIN under the product name.

Now that we’ve got our ASIN, it’s time to add it to our product tracker. Here’s what you need to do:

  1. Log in to your Jungle Scout account.
  1. Click “Product Research.”
  1. From the dropdown menu, choose “Product Tracker.”
  1. Click “Add Products.”
  1. Choose the marketplace you’re selling on. Then, click “Next.”
  1. Give your product group a name. Since it’s your product, I suggest you name it “My Products.” Then click “Next.”
  1. Now, add the ASIN to the text box. Then, click “Create and Add Products.”
  1. You should see your LQS on the spreadsheet.

You can repeat the process for every product you sell. However, if it says to come back in 48 hours, don’t worry! Let Jungle Scout do its thing and check it later.

However, if there is no LQS column, check the settings to see if you have enabled the “LQS” option. Then click “Save.”

What’s a Good Jungle Scout LQS to Aim For?

A decent Jungle Scout LQS score to aim for on your listing is 7 – 10. That way, you know it’s optimized enough to rank well!

When looking for product opportunities, it’s best to look at products with an LQS of 5 or lower. This shows that their listings may not be optimized for the target keyword.
