Brand Database

The Brand Database is SmartScout’s signature tool, and nothing in Helium 10 or Jungle Scout matches it. It lists every brand on Amazon with estimated monthly and trailing-12-month revenue, average price, the number of sellers, the dominant seller and their country, and a 0 to 10 brand score that rates listing quality. You filter that universe by more than a dozen criteria.

When I tested it: I pulled up the Brand Database and counted 484,427 brands. I could sort by revenue, then filter to brands where a single third-party seller owns most of the sales, the classic signal that a brand is open to new wholesale resellers. Amazon Basics alone showed about $189 million in estimated monthly revenue. That is the kind of question no keyword tool can answer. Product Database and Chrome Extension

The Product Database holds 24.9 million Amazon ASINs, filterable by revenue, units sold, category rank, review count, number of FBA sellers, Buy Box price, and launch date. When I tested it: I searched the Seller Database and every row linked straight to the live Amazon storefront. One seller, Pattern, showed about $131 million in estimated monthly revenue across 111 brands. SmartScout breaks Amazon into more than 40,000 subcategories and reports the metrics that decide whether a niche is worth entering. When I tested it: I opened the subcategory view and read it top down. Health & Household showed about $3.73 billion in estimated monthly revenue across 54,553 brands, with 21 percent of revenue going to Chinese sellers. AdSpy is SmartScout’s competitor PPC research tool. It tracked 370,612 brands when I checked in July 2026, showing the search terms each brand bids on, win rates across four sponsored placements, and estimated ad spend. Keyword Detective and the Search Terms Database add rank tracking and search-trend data. SmartScout shows you what rivals do; it does not place bids.

Operator scenario: Before a launch I would run a competitor through AdSpy, export the terms they spend the most on, and feed that list into our own campaigns. The first row looks like a miss until you read Amazon’s label. Amazon shows a 30-day floor ("10,000+ bought in past month") while SmartScout models average monthly units, so a listing averaging 24,000 units can show both numbers honestly. Sales rank is the cleaner test, and it stayed within 3 to 15 percent.
