The Helium 10 Chrome extension is the best Chrome extension for Amazon sellers interested in product, keyword, supplier, and market research.
This suite of offerings makes it the best all-around Chrome extension for beginners, intermediates, and expert Amazon FBA sellers.
If you’re looking for something similar but with a twist, Jungle Scout is the next best recommendation. However, none of these offer repricing like ProfitProtectorPro.
After reviewing 20+ Amazon seller Chrome extensions and cutting off 15, here are the best picks to grow different aspects of your FBA and FBM brand.

Helium 10 Chrome Extension
One of the standout features of the Helium 10 Chrome extension is its keyword niche summary, embedded inside Xray, for every Amazon search you make. This box, appearing at the top of the search results, shows you the 30-day revenue, 30-day sales, average BSR and price, and average product rating with your searched keyword.
This gives you a general overview of the niche you’re researching. Moving down into the product search pages, Helium 10’s Chrome extension neatly shows you relevant data on each product such as
- The number of variations sold on Amazon
- Number of sellers
- Sales channel (FBM or FBA)
- 30-day sales data
- Category the product is selling in
This is another time-saving feature since you don’t need to click every product to get this data.
Once you finally click on any product, Helium 10’s Chrome extension shows you richer data like the Listing Health Score, top keywords that the competing product is ranking for, and the product’s performance (sales and search) across 20+ Amazon marketplaces.
But even at that, 8 of Helium 10’s supported marketplaces don’t currently get the Chrome extension. Before you rule it out based on that, though, it still supports more marketplaces on its extension (13) than Jungle Scout (10) and ZonGuru (10).
And that’s not all.
You get a sales and revenue calculator to estimate how much you’ll make selling similar products in your store. Helium 10’s sales estimator is the best because it accounts for Amazon FBM sellers, unlike Jungle Scout’s alternative.
In addition, you can extract review insights for the product you’re researching in mere seconds. This saves you the time it takes to dig through all customer reviews and comments in search of the product’s pros and cons. Then, you can use this information to boost your product offering and listing, ensuring a customer-facing Amazon FBA or FBM business.
Finally, the Xray tool in Helium 10’s Chrome extension integrates directly with Alibaba. So, you can find reliable suppliers for products you’re researching without having to switch tabs manually. The only downside is that you’re limited to primarily Asian suppliers, while Jungle Scout allows you to source European and American suppliers.
If that’s not a dealbreaker, you’ll get the Helium 10 Chrome extension on all plans – from Starter to Diamond.
- Keyword niche summary for quick data overview
- FBA and FBM profit estimation
- Product sourcing via Alibaba
- Shows applicable data across all 20+ marketplaces
- Works in 13 Amazon marketplaces
- Actionable data such as Listing Health and top keywords to improve your listing performance
- Extracts review insights with in-depth summaries
- Lacks an Opportunity Score like Jungle Scout
- Doesn’t help source European or American suppliers
Our Verdit: Get the Helium 10 Chrome extension for robust niche, market, keyword, and product research. Its offering for beginners, intermediate, and expert Amazon FBA or FBM sellers is unparalleled.
Jungle Scout’s Chrome Extension
Jungle Scout might lack an answer to Helium 10’s keyword niche summary, but clicking its extension icon will get you all the relevant information you need.
This allows you to quickly understand the average revenue, selling price, rating, and monthly sales in a researched niche.
In addition, Jungle Scout provides an Opportunity Score to help you to make faster decisions using the demand-to-competition ratio in any niche. Something similar is missing on Helium 10, but you get one with AMZScout and ZonGuru.
Jungle Scout also provides additional data about all products you see on the search results page. Like Helium 10, you can quickly see each product’s monthly and daily sales, 30-day revenue, revenue per sale, and number of sellers.
The only drawback is that Jungle Scout doesn’t allow you to search suppliers directly from its Chrome extension. So, you’ll have to manually add the products to your web account to search from there.
Of course, this allows you to do a more robust manufacturer search across Asia, the US and Europe. However, it’s not as seamless as what you get with ZonGuru and Helium 10.
Once you get to the product page, Jungle Scout’s Chrome extension doesn’t provide much newer information than on the product/niche research page. However, this is where you can use its Review analysis tool, which incorporates AI for unique insights.
On the upside, you’ll like how its AI summarizes the positives and negatives and offers suggestions to improve the product. On the downside, you might not like the oversimplification of the reviews compared to how Helium 10 generates raw insights you can apply yourself.
You can also use Jungle Scout’s profitability calculator on product pages to estimate Amazon fees (only FBA) and possible revenue. Even so, this tool is hidden inside the main information dashboard, rather than being isolated, which can be a poor user experience.
Moreover, Jungle Scout’s Chrome extension works on 10 Amazon marketplaces, which is three less than Helium 10 supports. Fortunately, it works on all the major marketplaces and only misses Amazon Netherlands, UAE, and Australia, compared to Helium 10.
Finally, Jungle Scout allows access to its Chrome extension on all plans.
- Offers more information than Helium 10 on product search pages
- Opportunity Score helps decide on a niche faster
- AI-assisted review analysis for summarized insights
- Works on 10 Amazon marketplaces
- Chrome extension is available on all pricing plans
- Lacks supplier research on the Chrome extension
- Doesn’t separate tools in the Chrome extension for easier access
- Calculates only FBA-related fees and estimates
- Doesn’t cover as many marketplaces as Helium 10
Our Verdit: Jungle Scout’s Chrome extension is more suitable for beginners with its Opportunity Score metric and AI assistance. However, it might not be an ideal Chrome extension for Amazon FBM vendors.
ZonGuru Chrome Extension
The ZonGuru Chrome extension is a neat tool for quick product insights and supplier sourcing from the Amazon search page.
One aspect where ZonGuru edges out Helium 10 is the addition of a Niche Score.
This helps Amazon sellers to quickly gauge the demand, competition, and ease of entry to any researched niche.
Likewise, ZonGuru shows a unique Launch Budget metric that estimates how much you’ll need to get started in a niche. However, this tool needs refinement. After all, ZonGuru suggested a launch budget of $150,000 for paper towels, but I know beginners can get started for less than that.
Moving on, ZonGuru’s Chrome extension also allows you to add interesting product opportunities to your web account. Thus, you can dive deeper into them later to uncover profitable keywords, understand their sales metrics, or reverse-engineer the working tactics used by competitors.
But why did ZonGuru come third in my testing?
It lacks a review analysis tool on the Chrome extension like you get with Jungle Scout and Helium 10.
Furthermore, it doesn’t allow you to change marketplaces like Helium 10.
So, you may miss out on cross-marketplace insights for profitable products selling in more than one Amazon region. On top of that, ZonGuru only supports 10 marketplaces, matching Jungle Scout to fall behind Helium 10.
Even at that, though, ZonGuru impresses with a profit calculator that accounts for FBA and FBM sellers. The only issue is that its FBM side is still in development.
ZonGuru ends its impressive run by offering the Chrome extension on its cheapest pricing plan. The good news is that its cheapest plan is priced around Jungle Scout and Helium 10’s least prices, too.
However, these alternatives offer more features (on the Chrome extension and outside) than ZonGuru for their smallest plans.
- Niche Score for quick market evaluation
- Launch Budget metric can help determine starting capital
- Works on 10 Amazon marketplaces
- Chrome extension is available with the cheapest plan
- Lacks review analysis on the Chrome extension
- Doesn’t account for FBM sellers
Our Verdit: Get the ZonGuru Chrome extension if you’re merely interested in product and niche research. However, it’s unsuitable for in-depth review analysis, on-page keyword research, or access to most Amazon marketplaces.
AMZScout Chrome Extension
AMZScout splits different functionalities into multiple extensions, rather than streamlining all its tools into a single extension like the others.
The most comprehensive AMZScout Chrome extension is the PRO Extension.
Like ZonGuru and Jungle Scout, it has a unique Niche Score for quick insights into the demand-to-competition ratio in the niche you’re researching.
There’s also an in-house “HOT” metric that helps you identify products that have recently experienced a monthly sales surge. That way, you know the top-selling items to research and target.
Besides these, the general niche research insight you get on AMZScout’s PRO Extension can be expanded by clicking on some metrics. For instance, clicking the Rank, Price, or Estimated Sales options brings up a historical graph tracking these factors, while clicking FBA Fees whips up a profit calculator.
Going into the product page, AMZScout’s PRO extension rates the product on the ease of selling via Private Label or dropshipping/arbitrage. I find this metric useful for allowing different Amazon seller types to know what they’re getting into.
However, there’s no review analysis tool like you get with Helium 10 and Jungle Scout. Likewise, it’s missing an inventory management tool like Helium 10.
Besides this general extension, AMZScout also offers the following Chrome extensions:
- Stock Stats: to understand how many units of a product its sellers have in stock, like the product inventory level data you get on Helium 10.
- Quick View: use this feature to get faster insights into seller type, BSR, monthly sales, FBA fees, product margins, listing quality, etc., while browsing the Amazon search pages.
- Keyword Tracker: this extension helps track product keywords for ranking and sales data. It should have been integrated into the AMZScout web app since it doesn’t work on the Amazon search page.
- FBA Fees Calculator: pre-fills estimates for Amazon storage and FBA fees. Hence, you can supply product, shipping, and CPC cost data to approximate product revenue.
One extra feature with the Quick View and FBA Calculator Chrome extensions is the ability to source products on Alibaba directly from any Amazon page. That ensures you’re getting suppliers for the right product.
Fortunately, AMZScout’s single pricing plan is competitively priced against Helium 10 and Jungle Scout’s basic plans while giving you access to everything on the software.
You can even choose to buy the PRO Extension alone on a lifetime deal!
- Specialized Chrome extensions for multiple purposes
- Offers free yet useful Chrome extensions
- Tracks, records, and delivers a ton of data via Chrome extensions
- Unique niche score to help sellers make quicker decisions
- Targeted opportunity scores for different seller types (FBA, FBM, online arbitrage, etc.)
- Cheap pricing plan
- Allows lifetime purchase of its robust PRO extension
- Its multiple extensions could be streamlined into one
- Lacks inventory management and review analysis
Our Verdit: AMZScout’s PRO Extension is a no-brainer for Amazon beginners, intermediate and expert sellers seeking a lot of data into their niches. It lacks review analysis and inventory management, but the lifetime plan on the Chrome extension is worth looking into.
Zoof Chrome Extension
Like its web app, the Zoof Chrome extension was optimized for simplicity and usability.
The first thing you’ll notice is that Zoof doesn’t offer as much information on the niche research page as Helium 10, AMZScout or ZonGuru. It does this to keep things simple, but that won’t work for Amazon sellers who want quick insights into products before clicking through.
However, clicking the Opportunity Analyzer alone on a search results page gives you accurate insights on all the products on that page.
For example, you get the niche’s total and average monthly revenue, monthly sales, sales rank, price and reviews, and ratings. You even get keyword data, rivaling AMZScout and Helium 10.
The best part of this Zoof extension page is the integrated filter to sift through data for choice results! In addition, Zoof automatically lets you know if a niche you’re researching is good for starters or established sellers who want to scale with new products.
That makes it worth every penny!
While using the Opportunity Analyzer, you can click on some metrics like sales and revenue to discover historical trends. This reminds me of AMZScout, and it’s one of the best ways to ensure a product’s strong performance isn’t seasonal.
On the downside, Zoof’s Profit calculator isn’t designed for non-FBA Amazon sellers, which puts Zoof’s tool at a disadvantage compared to Helium 10. Likewise, Zoof doesn’t help you search suppliers for researched products via the Chrome extension. You’ll need to return to the web app, like Jungle Scout, for that.
Furthermore, Zoof’s Chrome extension lacks an inventory management system like Helium 10 or AMZScout. It even mimics ZonGuru in lacking a review analysis tool like you get with Helium 10 and Jungle Scout.
Still, it impresses by offering the Chrome extension on all plans. Before you pay, though, Zoof’s biggest drawback is that its Chrome extension only works for the Amazon US marketplace.
- Clean and intuitive user interface for beginners
- Opportunity Analyzer provides a wealth of important details
- Robust profit calculator
- Intuitive filters for faster data access
- Chrome extension offered on all plans
- Profit calculator doesn’t work for FBM sellers
- Only works for the Amazon US marketplace
- Lacks inventory prediction and estimation system
- Lacks robust data on niche research pages
Our Verdit: Zoof provides a low-cost and reliable Chrome extension for Amazon sellers looking for their first or next best-selling product. However, it only works for the Amazon US marketplace and lacks some extra features you’ll get with Helium 10.
SellerApp Chrome Extension
SellerApp takes the same path as AMZScout by offering multiple Chrome extensions.
The most robust of these extensions is the all-around SellerApp Chrome extension that allows you to do product and keyword research on the go.
But how efficient is it?
For starters, you can use its Product Scanner on the Amazon search results page to get the average selling price of units, product review count, orders, and ratings across a niche. The best part of this is a Market OS score, like Jungle Scout’s Opportunity Score or AMZScout’s Niche Score.
This extension also allows you to start tracking products that interest you right from the search page, as it syncs with your SellerApp web account.
Still, on the Amazon search results page, SellerApp’s Chrome extension provides a quick summary of the crucial details about every product while you scroll. This is like the product summary on Helium 10 or Quick View from AMZScout.
Interestingly, SellerApp is the only Chrome extension that shows you how many videos and images the product listing contains.
Once you dive deeper into a product page, the SellerApp Chrome extension offers more utility. For instance, it offers a review extractor to sift through all the product reviews. However, I don’t find it as robust since it doesn’t synthesize insights from reviews like Helium 10 and Jungle Scout.
Finally, you get a Profit Calculator, which prompts you to download another SellerApp extension. This could create a cluttered experience compared to the streamlined full-suite approach you get with Jungle Scout, Helium 10 and Zoof.
That leads us to the next set of extensions you get with SellerApp, such as
- FBA Profit Calculator: to estimate how much profit you can make via the FBA and FBM selling model, like Helium 10’s Amazon FBA calculator. The best part is that you can estimate fees for professional and personal seller accounts.
- Index Checker and Amazon Keyword Ranking: this extension checks whether a keyword in your listing has been indexed and where it ranks. It doesn’t work on Amazon’s pages but launches a new browser page.
- Free Amazon Keyword Tool: to find keyword variations for a seed keyword. However, you don’t get CPC data, search volume, keyword rank, or other relevant metric. Hence, I find it less appealing compared to Helium 10’s in-extension keyword research data tool.
- Amazon Review Request tool: unlike Helium 10 and Jungle Scout’s review analysis tool, this extension is focused on helping you get reviews from your customers. Hence, you need to be logged into your Seller Central account for it to work.
If you’re interested in these extensions, SellerApp offers them across all pricing plans. Likewise, there are no usage limits, except you’re on the free plan, which throttles product and keyword tracking functionality.
- Works across the most Amazon marketplaces
- Market OS helps to evaluate a niche’s competition and viability quickly
- FBA calculator accounts for Amazon FBM and non-Professional sellers
- Offers free extensions for non-paid users
- Chrome extensions work on all pricing plans
- Multiple extensions could be streamlined into one
- No review management tool for quick review insights
- Lacks an inventory management tool
Our Verdit: SellerApp’s Chrome extension isn’t as affordable as Helium 10, and it doesn’t streamline its offerings into one extension. However, it gives value for money if you’re interested in its other offerings.
ProfitProtectorPro Chrome Extension
Unlike the other Chrome extensions on this list, ProfitProtectorPro (PPP) is designed to do just one thing: help Amazon sellers optimize automatic repricing. This makes PPP unique from other repricers, which only work when you log in to their dashboards.
So, why do you need the Chrome extension when you can set repricing rules in your PPP dashboard? The biggest reason is time savings.
Rather than manually setting up a newly-added product in the PPP dashboard after importing it to your Amazon Seller Central account, the PPP Chrome extension fast-tracks the process. All you must do is activate the extension and enter the relevant details/repricing strategies on the desired products.
Likewise, this process already pre-fills some information about the product, so you save time on manually repeating such information in the PPP dashboard.
However, you’ll still have to wait for Amazon to populate the SKU via its API connection to PPP. Even so, this is much better than losing time on manual entries and still waiting for Amazon’s response.
Beyond that, though, the PPP extension doesn’t do much else.
Now, using the PPP Chrome extension might be unsuitable for sellers who want to add a lot of products to the repricer. In that case, such manual entries and rule-setting might get repetitive. Instead, it’s best to explore other product importation methods.
If you’re interested, this Chrome extension is a free add-on to all PPP pricing plans.
In fact, you get a 14-day free trial to test what it offers.
- Adds Amazon Seller account products to the repricer quicker
- Ensures repricing strategies take effect faster than with manual addition
- Prevents forgetting to add products to repricer on time
- Pre-fills information about the product to reduce data entry burden
- Only offers initial repricer strategy setup
- Doesn’t fast-track Amazon SKU update in PPP dashboard
- Not advisable for sellers adding a lot of products
Our Verdit: The PPP Chrome extension only appeals to Amazon sellers who already use repricers. If you’re one, this Chrome extension could help speed up your process to add new products to your repricing algorithm.
How I Created This List of the Best Amazon Chrome Extensions?
Almost all Amazon seller software have developed a Chrome extension. However, some decent tools have poor Chrome extensions, which could derail your product, keyword, and market research, or other selling operations.
That’s why I outlined specific test criteria to validate the 20+ Chrome extensions I considered for this list. Here they are:
- Extra functionality: I considered Chrome extensions that offered something unique to what’s obtainable in the parent software app. For example, Helium 10’s Profit Calculator is present on the Chrome extension but not on its web app.
- Independent usage: the Chrome extension must function independently of the main software. While dependability is excellent for some advanced features (like keyword research), I ensured that the Chrome extensions on this list can be used as standalone tools.
- Speed: I tested to ensure the Chrome extensions generate unique insights almost at the same time the Amazon pages load. Otherwise, they’ll slow and frustrate your market research or other tasks.
- Data quality and accuracy: you should be able to trust the market information and data you get from an Amazon Seller Chrome extension. That’s why I only retained providers that showed reasonable accuracy with Amazon’s data.
- Ease of use: Chrome extensions shouldn’t have a steep learning curve. Else, that defeats the purpose of having such a simple yet powerful tool at your disposal.
Frequently Asked Questions
Which Amazon Chrome Extension Is Best for SEO?
The best Amazon Chrome Extension for SEO is the Helium 10 extension.
This extension helps you identify the top-performing keywords and competitor products in your niche, giving you insights into their monthly search volume, volume trends, and ranking difficulty.
Likewise, the Chrome extension offers tools to track your (or a competitor’s) keyword progress. Based on the keyword ranking alerts, you can quickly make changes to your strategy.
Choose the Right Amazon Chrome Extensions
You don’t need to get all the Amazon Seller Chrome extensions to make a difference in your business. Identify the core tasks you need the Chrome extension for, then look for a reliable option with those features.
That’s why Helium 10 (get discounts here) remains the top Amazon Chrome extension for sellers. After all, it provides tools for product, keyword, competitor, and market research.
But if you have other business needs, I’m sure you’ll find the right fit on the list.
